About the Owners: Alex grew up on Pelee Island’s west shore and his childhood summers revolved around lake activities. We met on the island, then got married on Pelee as we wanted to share this special place with our friends and family. When we had our two boys, we planned to make Pelee a part of their lives as well. We were excited to purchase the stone house and bungalow to give us a launching point for those moments, and also to share with guests to make their own. After purchasing the property, we learned Alex’s ancestor, Alexander McCormick was the original owner / builder of the stone house.
